Interview with Kaylie

JM: How many different blocks were there?
Kaylie: I'm not sure how many dorms there was. I was in a dorm and there were 12 bunk beds. Only thing was they didn't have a ladder to climb up in them. So you could either try to jump up on them or sleep on the floor. I slept on the floor.

JM: Did they have names? If so, what were they?
Kaylie: I think they just called them by numbers.

JM: Which types of inmates were housed in the different blocks?
Kaylie: They did keep the violent girls from the rest of us. You could hear them in the next dorm over getting into fights.

JM: What do you remember being the nicest and worst parts about the different blocks?
Kaylie: The nicest part was just going home. The worst part was just being there. That was my first time and I was so embarassed to just be there.
